Cristian Stanoiu


Cristian Stanoiu (born 1979) studied architecture in Bucharest and Marseille, and took a Master’s degree in scenography in 2011 at the National University of Theater Art and Cinematography in Bucharest.  He works as an architect and scenographer and is involved in several continuous performing projects such as video design and live visuals for early the Romanian music band Imago Mundi, light design and video for land art installations, set design and direction with independent theater site-specific performances. He contributed with the national table at the Architecture section of the PQ11 and created the stage and costume design for “The Unfortunates”, by Füst Milán, directed by Kovács Zsuzsánna, performed at the Odeon Theatre in Bucharest and at the Béhague Palace, in Paris.
