Rebekka A. Ingimundardóttir (ISL) is an Icelandic Theater Maker working international for over 20 years. She’s been educated in stage and costume design in DAMU in the Czech Republic, and Object theatre in AHK and directing in TAM in The Netherlands. She is directing, designing and making her own performances, specialised in site specific performances, as well as working with other theatre groups like Silo Theatre (NL), Second Hand Women (CZ/IS), Dogtroep (NL). Divadlo Archa (CZ). She’s been designing stages and costumes for theatre performances since 1996 with theaters like City Theater Iceland, Divadlo Komedie, Komedia theatre, Czech and Icelandic National Theater, Room 408 (IS). She’s been also working as set and costume designer for films and tv since 1998 Teaching and giving workshops since 2007 at the department of Performing Art at the Icelandic University of Arts and at the Icelandic film school. She’s Commissioner of the Makers Exhibition for PQ15.
